Hammerson has revealed plans for a development comprising of two buildings on its St Alphage, London Wall Place site in the City of London, according to reports.

The leading European real estate company, advised by Knight Frank and Jones Lang LaSalle has submitted an application for a 500,000 sq ft office complex and is reported to have already begun the hunt for a pre-let. The scheme will comprise a 195,000 sq ft mini-tower and a 300,000 sq ft building at a cost expected to be about £350m. The larger of the two buildings will have three 40,000 sq ft trading floors and Hammerson is targeting it as a potential head office for a top City business.

Hammerson, which has a £5.4bn portfolio in the UK and France, confirmed in November that it had completed the disposal of a 51% interest in O’Parinor, Aulnay-sous-Bois, near Paris. It received proceeds of €217m (190m).
