LaSalle Investment Management has completed eight lease renewals at Enterprise House, Portsmouth. Serco has signed new five year leases on more than 30,000 sq ft of office space at a total rent of nearly £320,000.
The FTSE 100 support services company, though a subsidiary business, The Listening Company, has pre-emption rights to lease any new space which becomes vacant in the building. Enterprise House, which totals about 52,350 sq ft, comprises a 10-storey building, together with a three-storey annex. It is centrally located next to Portsmouth & Southsea rail station. LaSalle, on behalf of the landlord, has just started refurbishing the common parts and reception.
Andrew Miller at LaSalle Investment Management said: “We are delighted to have secured new leases on nearly 60 percent of the building with a top FTSE 100 company. These renewals, together with the refurbishment works, will considerably improve our client’s investment.” Lambert Smith Hampton advised LaSalle.
