New appointments

The latest movers and shakers across the commercial property industry

 

Claudia Kemp
Grafton Advisors has appointed Claudia Kemp as senior investment executive.  She will help the company undertake existing asset management initiatives and help source new business opportunities primarily in Central London. Claudia joins from DTZ where she previously held the position of senior surveyor in the West End of London Investment team. During her time at DTZ, Claudia was involved in a number of high profile transactions in the West End, including the sale of 77 Grosvenor Street (£89.4m) and the purchase of 33 Grosvenor Place (£160.3m).

Tim Reid
Tim Reid has been appointed as an associate director at CB Richard Ellis. Tim joins Gavin Elliott in leading a specialist capital markets team based in Belfast. Both Tim and Gavin join with extensive investment experience across both the London and Northern Ireland commercial property markets and will work closely with the Dublin and UK capital markets teams, to drive investment transactions in the UK and Northern Ireland. Furthermore, Tim has also carried out valuations on behalf of leading domestic and international financial institutions.

Amanda Howard
Amanda Howard, head of Nabarro’s funds and indirect real estate team, will become the first female chair of the Investment Property Forum (IPF) in June 2012. She will become vice-chair of this influential industry body when Phil Clark, European head of Property Investment, at Aegon Asset Management becomes chair in June 2011 and will then take over as chair the following year. Amanda has been on the IPF board since 2005. At Nabarro she specialises in structuring real estate funds, joint ventures for property investment and development and corporate wrapped transactions.
