MediaCityUK, Peel Group’s development in Salford Quays, has secured a new dental practice that will open later this year and a Prezzo restaurant that will open early in 2012.
They join other confirmed businesses at the £650m development, including WH Smith, Whitbread’s Costa coffee chain and supermarket group EH Booth.

The 1,680 sq ft private dental practice will be minutes from the new studio complex alongside the new Booths food store. MediaCityUK’s managing director Stephen Wild said he believed the dental facility would be a welcome addition to the growing community in Salford Quays.

Prezzo has agreed to take 3,000 sq ft on the ground floor of Orange Tower, overlooking the landscaped gardens and piazza in the development. The Orange Tower will also be home to a new campus for the University of Salford and office accommodation for ITV. The first phase of MediaCityUK includes about 80,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space.
