The quiet drama surrounding the impending deal to purchase Pinewood Studios-one of the world’s most renowned listed film studio companies- continues. Up until now, Peel Holdings has been the top name in the race to land the deal. The company already holds a stake of 29.78 percent in Pinewood Studios and has offered 190p per share to take complete control of the company that has been valued to approximately £90m. As freshly announced, the bid has been challenged by a mystery rival. Further announcements will be released as of when information becomes available.
