The Queen’s New Year Honours List included several names from the world of property.
Michael Oglesby, the founder and executive chairman of Manchester-based developer Bruntwood was awarded a CBE.
Homes and Communities Agency chairman Robert Napier, was awarded a CBE for public service, Dixon Jones architects’ Edward Jones got a CBE, for services to architecture and the Department for Communities and Local Government’s planning inspectorate chief executive, Katrine Sporle, was awarded a CBE.
Orla Corr, director of the McAvoy Group, was awarded an OBE for services to the building industry, Jean Dent, former director of city development at Leeds City Council, got an OBE for services to local government and Caroline Burden, previously head of planning at the Government Office for the North East, Department for Communities and Local Government was similarly honoured.
