Shattock resigns from Quintain

Quintain Estates and Development deputy chief executive Nick Shattock has resigned from the board. He has held the role for five years. Shattock joined the board 16 years ago and has overall responsibility for Quintain’s urban regeneration business

The company said he would leave the company on June 30 “to pursue new opportunities” and said his resignation was “by mutual agreement”.

William Rucker, chairman, said the company had grown from a small entrepreneurial property investment company to a significant player in urban regeneration and property fund management since Shattock had been on the board.

“Nick’s contribution to our urban regeneration activities has been significant, securing our reputation as an innovative and progressive real estate business and assembling two of the most exciting schemes in London today at Wembley City and Greenwich Peninsula, as well as his previous development track record.”

Shattock said now that the major projects he had led were being delivered, he had decided the time was right to take on fresh challenges. Adrian Wyatt, Quintain’s chief executive, will now lead the company’s urban regeneration activities. Rebecca Worthington, group finance director, will, for the time being, take over day-to-day responsibility for the company’s interests at Greenwich Peninsula.
